I am a collector of American art, with a focus on printmaking and works on paper. My interests center on interwar artists, Associated American Artists prints, and the design traditions connected to Yale School of Art. I am drawn to work defined by craft and structure rather than surface appeal—often darker, more atmospheric compositions, including cityscapes and night scenes—qualities I find in artists such as Martin Lewis and Armin Landeck, and in the more formal, design-driven work of Norman Ives. I am equally interested in the quieter, often overlooked strength of artists like Edith Nankivell and Asa Cheffetz. Much of my collecting is driven by the search itself—finding overlooked or misidentified works that reveal their quality over time.
I am based in Connecticut and regularly acquire material through auctions, estates, and private sources.
